Our facility
Mining & raw materials
Vertical integration from quarry to refractory gives us control over raw-material quality at source. Quartzite is selected for silica content and pyrometric cone equivalent (PCE).
Processing & production
Automated processing supports consistency and production scale. Pollution-control equipment is placed at transfer points, with waste processing part of the plant’s environmental controls.
- Mud separation and multilevel screening
- Rare-earth magnetic separation to remove iron contamination
- PLC-controlled batching and mixing for consistent composition
- Multiple production lines for different silica refractory grades
- Pulse-jet bag filters at dust-generation points
Quality assurance
Dedicated teams supervise the process. Samples from every batch are checked against technical specifications before shipment, and inventory is kept under dehumidified conditions. Customer requirements inform product customisation.
R&D laboratory
To maintain high quality standards, Rishi has dedicated teams for process supervision. The company follows a strict practice of constant quality checks across the complete production process. Samples from every batch are meticulously examined and checked to fit all technical specifications before shipment. Inventory is also stored under dehumidified conditions to maximize efficacy.
We also have a team of experts who interact with our clients to understand their specific product requirements for product customization before shipment.
Our R&D team focuses on analyzing changing trends and technologies to develop new processes and products in line with the latest furnace lining technologies. Our refractory application engineers work closely with clients, technology providers and consultants to help our customers achieve the highest efficacy possible while also developing products.
Other tests regularly performed on our refractory products include:
- Pyrometric cone equivalent tests
- Granulometry / particle size distribution — the single most critical factor for sintering and lining life
- Binder (e.g., boric acid) effectiveness — sintering behaviour at working temperature
- Thermal shock resistance or spalling resistance
- Creep / deformation under load at service conditions
- Chemical resistance to slag or metal penetration
